Alpine Canada Entry Level course, Date TBD

Alpine Canada/CSCF Entry Level Course

The 3 day Entry Level course includes training in free ski and gate drills for SL and GS, planning a day, 6 steps for ethical decision making and safety considerations. Candidates will learn the basics of the Snow Stars program. Practice coaching sessions are part of the course for each candidate.

The evaluation part of the course tests the candidate's ability to demonstrate free skiing skills and Snow Stars drills. Candidates must pass the evaluation to get credit for the course.

On successful completion of the course, you will achieve an Entry Level TRAINED certification status and become a member of the Canadian Ski Coaches Federation. This certification status will allow you to be hired by a club or ski school to start coaching in an entry level ski racing program.

16 years of age on the first day of the course. No exceptions.
